The Wharf District Council's holiday party was a fantastic opportunity to connect in-person, and it seemed everyone enjoyed it as much as we did. A few highlights worth sharing:
Vicki Spruill, President of the New England Aquarium, began the evening with her welcoming remarks; MANY thanks to her, VP Rick Musiol, and the New England Aquarium for hosting the event again!
We presented Representative Aaron Michlewitz with our first annual “Wharf District Champion” award, with deep appreciation for all he has done representing us, and for his sponsorship of the funding for our Climate Resilience Task Force. A well-deserved recognition!
City Council President Ed Flynn presented the Wharf District with a very special “Resolution”, a copy of which is attached. It is heartening to know that the Boston City Council recognizes the value of our collective “…contribution to the City of Boston…”. Thank you, Councilor Flynn, for the honor, and for all of your support over the years.
Finally, people began signing up for the new Associate Membership sponsorship, accessible on our new website. Please take a look and help the WDC however you can?
